2023-2024 Season-Concert Uniform Return Instructions

As we approach the end of the school year, it's crucial to ensure a smooth return of concert uniforms. Please make sure your student adheres to the following instructions:

  • Return Dates:

    • Band/Perc Ens/Jazz: May 8, 2024

    • Orchestra: May 10, 2024

Please bring your concert uniform to school on the designated day after your last performance. Uniform returns will occur during class time.

  • Uniform Handling:

    • Place ALL uniform items in the provided garment bag.

    • DO NOT wash any items. They will be professionally dry cleaned by us.

  • Important Deadline Information

    • Uniforms MUST be returned on your assigned date for dry cleaning purposes.

    • Failure to return uniforms on time will require you to arrange for PROFESSIONAL DRY CLEANING at your own expense. Please ensure the receipt showing proof of cleaning is returned by May 23, 2024 (last day of school).

    • Any missing uniforms or pieces will result in replacement fees, and charges will be applied to your school account accordingly.

2024-2025 Marching Season-Uniform Information

Uniform fittings for All Marching Band Members will be completed at Band Camp for the 2024-2025 Season. More details on dates and times to come shortly.

What to do before Shoes and Due$ Day-July 29, 2024

Attention Parents! Complete Dues & Accessories Form by 7/26

Mr. Hummel will also email this link to parents, however if you want to get a jump start,  please ensure to complete the Dues and Accessories form (Link coming) in preparation for Shoes and Due$ day on July 29. Please make sure to fill out this form before July 26. The information collected will be used for In-Person payment processing via cash, check, Zelle, or credit card (3% processing fee will apply) on the 29. Once payment is made, students will receive their Swag that day!

  • Marching Band/Color Guard $350

  • Summer Marching Band Camp $100

  • Symphonic Concert Band/Wind Ensemble $75

  • Concert and Symphonic Orchestra $75

Times and Schedule
To expedite the process, we will stagger students by asking returning Band members and parents to arrive for dues collection starting at 4 p.m. with new members and parents arriving at 5 p.m. for a short overview and Q & A with the Board President.  Dues collection will quickly follow. 

Accepted Methods of Payment In-Person on July 29
Please remember on July 29 there will only be in-person payment processing via cash, check, Zelle, or credit card (3% processing fee will apply). Once payment is made, students will receive their Swag that day! No online payments will be available prior to July 29.  If you'd like to expedite the process, Zelle is a great way to pay.  Check your bank for access to the application. If you cannot attend on July 29, please contact treasurer@dmhsband.org for assistance.

Not in Marching Band? Important Uniform Fitting Information
The following information is for students NOT in the Marching Band.
 
Students who do NOT participate in Marching Band and are in either the Concert Orchestra, Symphonic Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, or Symphonic Band will be fitted for tuxes and dresses during the school day. Dues will be collected in person on TBD (Early September 2024) via cash, check, credit card (3% processing fee will apply) or Zelle. Volunteers are also needed to support this activity.
